Adult : Adjust the ration to the intensity of activity, higher during hunting or working periods.

A complete, quality diet for an active dog is appropriate, provided that its composition and energy density correspond to the dog's age, weight, body condition and level of exercise.

Managing the food transition

Treats, in moderation
Treats can support training, but they must remain moderate and be integrated into the daily energy intake so as not to unbalance the ration.
Good habits

- Weigh the dog regularly and adjust the ration to its body condition.
- Avoid a large meal just before or just after intense exercise.
- Deduct treats from the daily ration.
- Leave fresh water available at all times.
Never give
Chocolate, grapes and raisins, onion, garlic, xylitol, alcohol, caffeine, macadamia nuts and cooked bones should be avoided, as they can cause poisoning or serious digestive lesions in dogs.
