Wettiner Ken

Wettiner Ken breeds Lagotto Romagnolo in Hainichen. The puppies initially grow up in the home environment and become familiar with typical everyday sounds there. From approximately the fourth week of life, they use a puppy house with a spacious run in the garden. Keeping them in kennels is avoided, so the young dogs have plenty of freedom of movement. Through contact with the rest of the pack and the people in the household, the puppies gain social experience early on. The imprinting phase is used for age-appropriate training. Short trips to the nearby surroundings and journeys by car are also part of their upbringing. This is intended to support the development of confident and sociable behavior towards people and other animals. The puppies are handed over from the completed eighth week of life. By then, they are microchipped, vaccinated and dewormed. To help them start in their new home, the families receive, among other things, a European vaccination passport, documents on their ancestry and litter inspection, proof of DNA parentage, a food package for the first few days and a puppy lead.
