Dal cuore verde is a small family hobby breeding program for Lagotto Romagnolo in Jena, in the green heart of Germany. The dogs live as permanent family members in the household and also accompany the family on trips. The breeding program is affiliated with Lagotto Romagnolo Wasserhunde Deutschland e.V. The breeding dogs are described as calm, attentive and eager-to-learn companions. They enjoy working with their noses, like search games as well as retrieving and swimming. Truffle hunting is also part of the breeding program’s experience; corresponding training and trips to several European countries are mentioned. Among other things, the parent dogs were examined for hips, elbows, patella, eyes and genetic characteristics. The puppies grow up with a wide variety of everyday stimuli, different people, noises, surfaces and water. Before being handed over, they are vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed several times and receive an EU pet passport.
