von Waldeck & Pyrmont

The Havanese breeding program von Waldeck & Pyrmont is based in Berndorf in northern Hesse. Two female dogs live there as part of the family, with space in their own house and garden. They also accompany the family on trips and are firmly integrated into everyday life. Since 1983, the breeding program has been dedicated to the Bichon Havanais in the VdH and is affiliated with the Verband Deutscher Kleinhundezüchter e.V. The breeding work is based on consistent line breeding. According to the breeding program, earlier Havanese from the breeding line continue to have an influence in subsequent generations to this day. Von Waldeck & Pyrmont also maintains contact with the dogs’ families after they have been placed. Friendships have developed from this exchange over the years. The breeding program views the Havanese as a loving companion dog and is available to provide advice on questions about living together with a dog from its breeding program.
