Von ThorDieter in Rottenmann is dedicated to breeding Flat-Coated Retrievers. A healthy litter has grown up with the breeder’s female dog; the puppies were lively from the very beginning and developed well. They are raised in a home environment so that the young dogs become familiar with everyday impressions at an early age. The puppies are gently introduced to various situations in daily life. These include car rides as well as encounters with children, cats, horses and other dogs. Excursions into the forest are also part of these early experiences and support the versatile development of the young Flat-Coated Retrievers. Before leaving, the puppies are dewormed, vaccinated and microchipped. At eight weeks, from 18 March, they are ready to move to their new home. Von ThorDieter describes a family-based upbringing focused on health and becoming well accustomed to different environmental stimuli.
