The von Mehnen dog breeding kennel is based in the rural area of Stemwede and is dedicated to the Boxer. The close connection with this breed has existed for four decades and continues to shape the direction of the kennel to this day. Since 2005, breeding has been carried out with Munich papers. The Boxer-Klub e.V. is among the kennel’s breeding affiliations. The focus is on the responsible further development of the breed according to the breed standard, rather than on mere propagation. Litters are planned only occasionally from special pairings. The puppies grow up with close contact to people. When selecting pairings, the kennel pursues the goal of consolidating and standardizing the Boxer’s characteristics and further developing them in accordance with the standard.
