Von der Trotzenburg breeds Wire-haired Rabbit Dachshunds in Biendorf. The dogs grow up in a home environment and are firmly integrated into family life. Keeping them in kennels is ruled out for the breeding establishment; instead, the animals have a large property at their disposal, where they can move freely and spend time outdoors. The breeding animals are examined by means of DNA tests for various hereditary diseases. The breeding establishment is affiliated with the Deutscher Teckelklub e.V. and places value on typey Wire-haired Rabbit Dachshunds as well as careful rearing in the house. Puppies are placed exclusively in responsible, loving households without kennel keeping. At the time of placement, they have been dewormed several times, microchipped, vaccinated and registered by DNA sample. They also receive an FCI-recognized VDH/DTK pedigree as well as an EU pet passport.
