von der Questiner-Heide

The von der Questiner-Heide kennel in Questin is dedicated to the German Hunting Terrier. Currently, four eight-week-old puppies are available for hunters. The focus of the breeding program is on dogs with aptitudes for practical hunting and characteristics that meet the requirements of hunting work. For ten years, von der Questiner-Heide has relied on performance-oriented breeding selection and proven pairings from GDR bloodlines. The dogs from the kennel that have been tested so far have achieved very good performance results. Thus, documented working performance represents an essential reference point for selecting the dogs used. The dogs are described as having pronounced sharpness toward wild boar and predators. In addition, the kennel cites very good prerequisites for den work, obedience, and handling. von der Questiner-Heide is a member of Deutscher Jagdterrier-Club e. V. and aligns its breeding with the aforementioned hunting performance characteristics.
