The Von der Tautropfenwiese kennel is based in Brühl in the Rhineland, between Cologne and Bonn. It is dedicated to the Slovakian Wirehaired Pointer, a still young hunting dog breed. Enthusiasm for this breed arose through many years of observing its characteristics and development in the personal environment. With a female from a first litter, the kennel’s own breeding began. The decisive factors were her balanced temperament, her appearance and her hunting abilities. The aim of the breeding programme is to promote the Slovakian Wirehaired Pointer responsibly and contribute to the further development of this breed. The kennel is affiliated with the Verband für das Deutsche Hundewesen. The puppies grow up in a family environment with a house and garden. In addition, outings into the hunting grounds are planned so that they can become familiar with different impressions. Von der Tautropfenwiese therefore places importance on varied early socialisation of the young dogs.
