The con Sara in Mente kennel in Wesseling is dedicated to the Spinone Italiano. Its name recalls the first breeding bitch Sara, with whom Spinone breeding began in 2006. She shaped the kennel’s understanding of the special characteristics of this Italian pointing dog breed. The focus is on a balanced, friendly and eager-to-work temperament, without being overexcitable, as well as the Spinone Italiano’s good compatibility. These breed-typical characteristics are to be preserved and specifically encouraged in healthy puppies. The kennel is affiliated with Spinone Italiano e.V. con Sara in Mente enables interested parties to get to know the breed more closely on walks and to make contact with Spinone owners in the area. As an experienced kennel, it also participates in the VDH mentoring programme and, when needed, supports breeders and puppy owners, including beyond its own breed, with experience and practical assistance.
