The Dobermann breeding kennel von der Semswiese in Cölbe is small and family-oriented. Litters are deliberately planned only rarely, usually at intervals of one to two years; sometimes the breaks are longer. The dogs live in the house and are constant companions in everyday family life. The puppies are also born in the house. There, they have their own room with direct access to the terrace. As soon as a litter arrives, the whole family plans its free time accordingly and jointly takes on the tasks involved in care and rearing. The von der Semswiese kennel bases its work on the guidelines of the VDH. Occasional visits to shows are possible, but they are not a focus and are not considered mandatory. The focus is on living together with the dogs and their special importance within the family, not on titles or achievements.
