After the Caucasian Shepherd Dog, the kennel has been keeping Maremmano-Abruzzese freely among livestock since 2008. The aim is to produce capable working dogs for herds, adapted to the conditions in Germany. The dogs have successfully completed their breeding performance test. Their working behaviour with the herd is also checked regularly. For eligible agricultural businesses in wolf areas, the purchase of a certified livestock guardian dog from this kennel may qualify for funding. The puppies are born directly in the sheep flock and grow up there until they are handed over. In addition, they are accustomed to cattle and electric pasture fences. They leave the kennel vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed; they are also given IDR papers.
