The Boxer kennel von der Königswiese in Gelsenkirchen grew out of a long-standing connection with this breed. The first Boxer arrived in 1996 and sparked an enthusiasm that continues to shape the breeding goal to this day. A yellow female became the foundation bitch of Königswiese in 2007 and made the kennel’s continued path possible. The kennel also achieved notable successes in dog sports: in 2013, the team won the title of German Champion in the Boxer-Klub and shortly afterwards became Vice World Champion in Italy. It also took part in the VDH Championship twice. These experiences underscore the appreciation for Boxers who are willing to perform and strong in character. Health has unrestricted priority at von der Königswiese. The puppies grow up in everyday life and as part of the pack, are attentively accompanied and encouraged from an early age. The goal is healthy, sound Boxers who move into suitable, loving families well prepared. Even after they leave, the dogs’ development remains of great importance to the kennel.
