von der Knüllwald Hütte

The Von der Knüllwald Hütte kennel in Gescher has been breeding Standard Wire-Haired Dachshunds since 2018. The focus is on dogs that meet both the requirements of hunting use and life in a family environment. The kennel is affiliated with the Deutscher Teckelklub e.V. The Dachshunds grow up within the kennel’s family environment. Their training is oriented towards practical hunting and prepares them for various tasks. The dogs are given the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities in trials and at shows. The kennel’s Standard Wire-Haired Dachshunds are also used in active hunting. Von der Knüllwald Hütte thus combines working with the Dachshund in the hunting grounds with an approach in which the dogs are integrated into everyday family life.
