Dackel vom Hof Sandhowe Dachshund breeder in Selm · Germany

The hobby kennel Dackel vom Hof Sandhowe in Selm has been dedicated to breeding long-haired and wire-haired Dachshunds in the miniature and standard sizes for more than three decades. The focus is on appearance and a balanced temperament; the dogs are described as affectionate, intelligent, eager to learn and elegant. Wire-haired Dachshunds come in wild boar, black-and-tan and brown coat colours, while long-haired Dachshunds come in red and black-and-tan. The puppies grow up in a rural setting on a farm and can be met together with their parents. The kennel particularly highlights their friendliness towards children. The puppies are not rehomed before the age of nine weeks. By then, they have been vaccinated five times, dewormed several times, tattooed and receive a pedigree. The kennel also offers expert guidance on questions concerning the acquisition and the period afterwards.
