von der Burg Els Maltese breeder in Dohr · Germany

The dog breeding kennel von der Burg Els in Dohr is dedicated to Maltese, which predominantly conform to the American standard and are intended to remain small. The dogs are kept in a familiar home environment; kennels and crates are not used. The focus is on the passion for this special dog breed. For the matings, lines that are not directly related are selected. The breeding program therefore relies on outcrossing rather than inbreeding in order to counteract overbreeding. The lines Cinecitta, Forussi, Selavi, Wonder of Love and Ta-Jon’s are mentioned, among others. The aim is to produce beautiful, robust and even-tempered Maltese with a friendly, affectionate nature. The puppies grow up under careful conditions and are integrated into everyday life. According to the breeding program’s presentation, they receive comprehensive socialization and are already largely house-trained when they leave. Interested parties can get to know the rearing environment and follow the puppies’ development until they take them home. The breeding program is located in Dohr near Cochem.
