The von der Altmühlleite kennel in Kipfenberg is dedicated to the Italian Spinone. In the breeder’s view, this distinctive pointing dog is best experienced directly: Its character and presence make the encounter special. At the center is the female dog Fanny, who is described as even-tempered and composed. In a home environment, she is calm and self-possessed. During her daily excursions in the hunting grounds, however, she reveals plenty of temperament as well as remarkable endurance. The presentation of the kennel emphasizes this breed’s need for exercise and demanding tasks. Activity and challenges are visibly part of Fanny’s life.
