The von den Pretorianern kennel breeds Dogo Canario in Germany and, according to its own information, has been associated with this breed since 1991. The parent animals live at the breeding facility. For interested parties, documents ranging from the temperament test to breeding approval can be viewed in order to get to know the puppies’ parents. According to the kennel, some of the breeding dogs come from imports from Spanish breeding facilities that were personally visited. The kennel considers a breed-typical appearance and distinguishing the Dogo Canario from other designations or breeds to be particularly important. The advanced age reached by some dogs is also highlighted. The puppies are handed over with a pedigree, EU pet passport, microchip, multiple vaccinations and deworming. A heart examination, a veterinary health certificate, feeding advice, initial equipment and a two-year warranty are also planned. The kennel recommends obtaining detailed information about the breed standard before acquiring a dog.
