The von den Keksdieben kennel is located in Heidelberg and is associated with the Old German Shepherd Dog. Personal experience also focuses on Bergamasco Sheepdogs of American and Italian origin. Enthusiasm for this rare herding breed arose through a former family dog with Bergamasco characteristics. The balanced temperament, calmness and unobtrusive nature of these dogs are particularly appreciated. The dogs’ daily routine includes extended walks, play and tasks for mental stimulation, such as search and patience games. The kennel is committed to preserving the endangered Bergamasco Sheepdog and supports international cooperation among breeders and breeding clubs in order to protect the small population in the long term.
