The von den Eppler Sandpfoten kennel in Eppelheim is dedicated to the Bernese Mountain Dog. Their connection with dogs is based on many years of experience working with people and dogs, as well as on the desire to contribute to the preservation of this breed. The arrival of a Bernese Mountain Dog female laid the foundation for today’s breeding program. von den Eppler Sandpfoten is a member of the Deutscher Club für Berner Sennenhunde e.V. and follows the breed standard of the DCBS, VDH and FCI in its breeding program. The focus is on healthy Bernese Mountain Dogs with a confident, balanced and impeccable temperament. The puppies grow up in a family environment and become familiar with different sounds and everyday impressions from the very beginning. They spend their first time in a separate area of the large living room. Later, the courtyard directly adjacent to the house offers them various surfaces, resting places, play areas and activities that support their development.
