The Beluga kennel in Wiesbaden has been dedicated to the Old German Shepherd Dog since 1982. The focus is on healthy, even-tempered, socially compatible and anatomically correctly built dogs. The kennel is affiliated with the Verein für Deutsche Schäferhunde (SV) e.V. and was awarded its golden breeder’s badge. The dogs grow up in a pack and share everyday life in the house and garden. This family-oriented keeping shapes their upbringing and provides the animals with an environment in which living together with people and fellow dogs has a firm place from the very beginning. Descendants of Beluga live as family dogs, accompany blind people or are used as rescue and police dogs. They are also active in dog sports, including IPO and Agility. At major dog shows organized by the VDH and FCI, dogs from the kennel have already won numerous titles and represented the German Shepherd Dog at home and abroad.
