The vom Zigeunerloch kennel in Baar has been dedicated to breeding Welsh Terriers since 1969 and holds a kennel card from the Klub für Terrier von 1894 e.V. Its breeding goal combines a breed-typical appearance, suitable coat, correct conformation and a sound temperament with a high level of working ability. The dogs are trained and developed for hunting; successes at shows at home and abroad underscore the work of the kennel. All breeding dogs have passed their breed surveys and have the available genetic tests considered meaningful for the breed. Stud dogs from the kennel’s own breeding programme are also used throughout the region. The offspring find their place both in hunting and in disciplines such as IGP, agility, mantrailing or as therapy dogs. With appropriate imprinting and age-appropriate training, they can likewise be reliable family and companion dogs. The kennel places importance on getting to know prospective puppy owners at an early stage and finding a permanently suitable home for these spirited Terriers.
