vom Eisernen Gitter Welsh Terrier breeder in Perg · Austria

The vom Eisernen Gitter dog breeding kennel has been dedicated to the Welsh Terrier in Perg since 2004. In the first years, five litters were born, comprising a total of 34 puppies. The breeding program was based on several dogs of its own; after the loss of a female, three Welsh Terriers still lived in the household in 2014. A female from the last litter of an older breeding female remained in the breeding program in 2009 and ensures its continuation. This female received both the title Austrian Junior Champion and Austrian Champion. At the 2012 World Dog Show in Salzburg, she was awarded the rating “excellent”. In 2013, following a mating with a Canadian male, a litter of six males was born; all puppies were placed. The breeding history documents the continuation of the Welsh Terrier line through a female from the breeding program. Another litter with her was planned for spring 2015.
