Vom Streichelzoo is a small hobby cattery for British Shorthair cats in Waltrop. The cattery is primarily dedicated to cats in Silver Tabby and Blue. The focus is on a family-oriented upbringing, in which the kittens are integrated into the household’s everyday life from the very beginning. The young cats do not grow up in isolation, but experience the various impressions of a lively household. Contact with dogs is also part of their environment. In this way, good socialisation is intended to be encouraged and the kittens enabled to grow up in a balanced manner. A move to their new home takes place no earlier than after the twelfth week of life and with the associated papers. Before they are handed over, the kittens are vaccinated twice against cat flu and twice against feline panleukopenia. They are also dewormed several times so that they can start their new stage of life well prepared.
