The Rottweiler breeding establishment vom Schmugglerwald looks back on many years of experience with dogs, which began in 1991. After the first years with a Bull Terrier, Rottweilers shaped the further path of the breeding establishment. Dogs from animal welfare organizations were also part of the household’s history and strengthened the special bond with the breed. The foundation for the breeder’s own breeding program was laid with a female dog that was trained in dog sports and passed the breeding suitability test in 2017. The breeding establishment is a member of the Allgemeiner Deutscher Rottweiler-Klub (ADRK) e.V. and the VDH. After moving back to Germany from Belgium, the hobby breeding program was continued following approval by the ADRK breeding warden. The puppies grow up in the house together with their mother and experience their family around the clock. In everyday life, they become familiar with different sounds, other animals, as well as machines and agricultural vehicles. In this way, the young Rottweilers are gently prepared for a varied life outside the breeding establishment.
