Vom Obersten Wehr is dedicated to breeding Bearded Collies in a small, family-oriented environment with a house and garden. The kennel is affiliated with the Club für Britische Hütehunde e.V. The puppies grow up closely integrated into the family’s everyday life and are exposed to a wide variety of experiences from an early age. During their upbringing, importance is placed on uncomplicated contact with people of different age groups as well as on living together with cats. The young dogs already learn to use the dog toilet and increasingly do their business in the garden during the day. This is intended to provide a good foundation for their future everyday life. The puppies are handed over at the age of ten weeks. By then, they have been dewormed several times, vaccinated and microchipped, and receive an EU pet passport. Documentation for MDR1, CEA and DM is available for the parent animals; in addition, an ophthalmological examination with regard to CEA was carried out. Health and careful socialisation are equally important to the kennel.
