vom Napoleondamm

Vom Napoleondamm is a dog breeding establishment in Emsbüren in the southern Emsland. The rural location offers the dogs plenty of space. The breeding establishment breeds Jagdterriers and is affiliated with the Verein Deutsch-Drahthaar e.V. Since 2006, the breeding establishment has been devoted with great enthusiasm to the training and hunting work of dogs. In the hunting grounds, they are expected to demonstrate what they have learned in practice: search persistently, point, retrieve reliably in the field, forest and water, and work during tracking searches. Preparing for association examinations is also part of the breeding establishment’s experience. In addition, it draws on knowledge gained from working as an association judge. However, the focus is on the joy of training dogs and handling them during the hunt. In this way, vom Napoleondamm combines practical work in the hunting grounds with experience in examination procedures.
