vom Luitpoldhof

The vom Luitpoldhof dog breeding kennel is dedicated to Bernese Mountain Dogs in Presseck, in northern Upper Franconia. The dogs live in the house and are firmly integrated into the daily routine and leisure activities of the breeding establishment. The natural surroundings of the rugged Franconian Forest provide the setting for their life as family dogs. Since 2007, the breeding establishment has been affiliated with the Schweizer Sennenhund-Verein für Deutschland e.V., which belongs to the VDH and the F.C.I. The breeding follows their guidelines and places particular emphasis on health, responsible keeping and careful planning of each mating. From caring for the female dog through the puppies’ early development, vom Luitpoldhof accompanies every litter with great attention. During the first nine weeks, loving rearing, sound imprinting and socialization are the focus. The selection of suitable families and contact after the puppies leave are also part of the responsible breeding philosophy.
