vom Licht der Nacht

Vom Licht der Nacht is a dog kennel in Lägerdorf dedicated to the White Swiss Shepherd Dog. The path to breeding developed over many years of shared experience with dogs in Schleswig-Holstein: in 2002, a Husky-Shepherd female moved in first, followed by a Bernese Mountain Dog male in 2005. With the arrival of the first white female in 2013, the desire to breed dogs themselves became firmly established. The first litter was born in 2016; a female from this litter remained with the family. The development of the dogs and the experiences gained from living together form the foundation of the breeding program. Regular visits to dog school are just as much a part of everyday life as shared activities with the dogs. These include cycling and swimming in particular. Vom Licht der Nacht is affiliated with the Rassezuchtverein für Weisse Schweizer Schäferhunde e.V. and focuses on actively integrating the dogs into family life.
