The Boxer breeding kennel vom Großen Freien looks back on a long history: Boxers have been kept in the family environment since as early as 1969, with their papers originating from Munich. The kennel name was registered with the Boxer-Klub e.V. in 1972 and has since stood for a continuously developing breeding tradition. The kennel’s first litter was born in 1974. Since then, the breeding program has consciously continued to develop on a manageable scale. Membership in the Boxer-Klub e.V. underscores the kennel’s connection to organized Boxer breeding and its long-standing history. The focus is on a family-based approach with only one or two bitches. As the dogs reach an advanced age, the number of litters is deliberately kept limited. By 2016, eight litters had been born; the litter designations had reached the letter H at that time.
