The hobby breeding kennel vom Bohrenberg has been dedicated to the Kooikerhondje, the small Dutch hunting dog for waterfowl, since 2018. It follows the demanding requirements of the Deutscher Club für Kooikerhondje e.V. (VDH/DCK) and conducts its breeding within the framework of these club guidelines. The preservation of this intelligent and friendly breed is the focus. Vom Bohrenberg places importance on promoting the dogs’ health, physical condition and balanced temperament as sustainably as possible. The breeding is intended to preserve the breed-typical characteristics of the Kooikerhondje and accompany them responsibly. The bitch Ayla had three litters and now spends her retirement in her familiar surroundings. Her daughter Caya Lilli, called Lilli, continues the qualified hobby breeding. In this way, vom Bohrenberg builds on the previous breeding line and continues to focus on the well-being of the Kooikerhondjes.
