vom Ampertal Rhodesian Ridgeback breeder in Allershausen · Germany

The hobby kennel vom Ampertal is dedicated to the Rhodesian Ridgeback in Allershausen, just outside Munich. The enthusiasm for this breed arose around 15 years ago; two years later, the first Ridgeback moved in. Since then, the close bond with these dogs of distinctive character has shaped the kennel. At the heart of the breeding program is a female that carries the Livernose gene and, in the breeder’s assessment, conforms to the breed standard and the desired appearance. Her qualities have also been confirmed at several shows. Particular attention is paid to her temperament and her friendly behavior toward children. Vom Ampertal aims to preserve these qualities in its offspring. The Rhodesian Ridgeback puppies grow up lovingly in a family environment. In this way, the kennel combines careful rearing with the goal of nurturing balanced, sound-tempered dogs of this special breed.
