Vesterskoven VSDK

Vesterskoven VSDK in Tårs breeds short-haired Hungarian Vizslas as both hunting and family dogs. The kennel’s dogs are used especially for hunting hoofed game, including moose hunting in Sweden, and for tracking. The aim is to preserve the qualities that characterize a versatile and useful hunting dog. The breeding program participates in shows in Denmark and abroad and has achieved placements such as BOB, BOS and BIG. One of the kennel’s dogs became a Danish Junior Champion in 2019 at 16 months of age. Vesterskoven VSDK has completed the DKK breeder education and continues its breeding based on the bitch line on which the kennel was founded. The puppies grow up with close daily contact with people and other animals. This is intended to give them a good foundation for socialization before they move to their future families. The kennel has four Vizslas, including dogs from several generations of the same line. A litter from one of the bitches was born in May 2024, and a female puppy has been selected to continue the breeding work.
