V.d koningspade Rhodesian Ridgeback breeder in Hoogwoud · Netherlands

V.d koningspade is a kennel in Hoogwoud that occasionally breeds Rhodesian Ridgebacks, with health as the starting point. The breeding program follows the guidelines of the Raad van Beheer and takes inbreeding into account when selecting parent combinations. The parent dogs have been examined for several hereditary and orthopedic conditions, including HD, ED, JME and DM. The puppies are born in the house and grow up among other animals and children. In good weather, they go outside. The kennel pays attention to socialization, getting used to a crate and an initial foundation for house-training. Every puppy receives an FCI pedigree, microchip and DNA profile, a European passport, vaccination and veterinary check-up. The puppies are also dewormed and checked for dermoid sinus. A sales contract, litter toy and puppy package with food are included. The kennel owner completed courses on dog welfare, first aid, breeding, heredity and legal aspects.
