Valnødgården's in Herlufmagle is a dog breeding kennel focusing on Västgötaspets. Behind the breeding lies 40 years of experience with dogs and several breeds. The kennel has completed the DKK breeder education and DKK masterclass and operates under its own kennel name. The interest in the Västgötaspets originated from an early encounter with the breed at a family’s home in Sweden, its country of origin. The kennel’s bitch was imported from a Swedish breeder, has been shown and has achieved the titles KLBJCH and DKCH. The breed is described as an intelligent, affectionate and cooperative companion with roots dating all the way back to the Viking Age. The breeding prioritizes known health results: the kennel’s bitch has HD status A, and only breeding partners with known status are selected. Valnødgården's also places emphasis on maintaining an ongoing relationship with puppy buyers and offers advice and guidance whenever needed after the puppy has moved to its new home.
