Traneborgens Newfoundland breeder in Højer · Denmark

Traneborgens is a small, family-oriented kennel breeding black and black-and-white Newfoundland dogs in Højer. The kennel was established in 2006 and grew out of a long-standing interest in the breed. The kennel considers working with the dogs, shows and dog sports to be central parts of everyday life and an engaging leisure interest. The dogs are closely integrated into the family’s daily life. Each dog receives its own training and activities, with attention to both mental challenges and physical exercise. The close everyday life with the dogs is intended to provide good conditions for well-being and for following each individual dog’s development. In its breeding work, Traneborgens places emphasis on combining health, temperament and conformation. These three factors are regarded as equally important and as qualities that should be interconnected. Knowledge of the Newfoundland dog is based on many years of experience, and puppies may occasionally be available.
