Ursulas

Ursulas is a dog kennel in Tranekær focusing on Newfoundlands. The kennel is based on many years of interest in dogs and on experience that began with a Dachshund in childhood. The early joy of life with dogs later developed into a special commitment to the breed that the kennel works with today. The first litter was born in 1992. Since then, Ursulas has had several litters and gathered many experiences with the Newfoundland, a breed that the kennel describes as quite special. The experience has been built up over many years of breeding, with the dogs’ everyday life as a central focus. After a thirteen-year break without puppies, Ursulas is once again actively breeding, based on a female from the kennel’s own dogs. The kennel has completed DKK's breeder education and continues its work with Newfoundlands, drawing on both previous experience and its joy in the breed.
