Tjørnebo’s is a small Landseer breeding kennel in Dragør on Amager. The kennel’s purpose is to safeguard the breed and work for dogs that are both typical of the breed and have good physical and mental health. The kennel has completed DKK’s breeder education and places emphasis on a responsible approach to breeding. The dogs live as family dogs in the home and are a natural part of everyday life. They encounter ordinary sounds and activities in the house and also have access to the garden. Alongside family life, training and activities such as obedience, Nose Work, hunting and water rescue training are part of the dogs’ everyday routine. The Landseer has been part of the kennel since 2020, after an interest in the breed arose a few years earlier. The breeding work is based on good health results and experience from obedience training and shows. The puppies are socialised in a home environment, so they have a solid foundation before moving to their new families.
