Thrupaca Rhodesian Ridgeback breeder in Herne · Germany

Thrupaca is a Rhodesian Ridgeback breeding kennel in Herne, in the heart of the Ruhr region. The surroundings, characterized by cultural diversity and the region’s distinctive industrial landscapes, shape the location. The kennel is affiliated with the Club zur Erhaltung der Laufhunde des Südlichen Afrika e.V. The enthusiasm for the breed began with the arrival of a male Rhodesian Ridgeback in 2018. His even-tempered, friendly and sociable nature quickly made him the center of everyday life. Since 2021, a confident and attentive female from the same litter has complemented their life together. Thrupaca describes living with the two dogs as particularly enriching. With her pronounced need for exercise and her enjoyment of play, the female brings a great deal of dynamism. Time spent in nature is an important part: long walks, shorter hikes and bike rides through the Haard are among their shared activities.
