Team Jappes Shetland Sheepdog breeder in Herlufmagle · Denmark

Kennel Team Jappes is a small home breeder of Shetland Sheepdogs in Herlufmagle. The breeding programme has six dogs and places emphasis on everyday life taking place close to the family and the pack of dogs. Team Jappes has completed DKK’s breeder education and follows the breeding guidelines of Dansk Shetland Sheepdog Klub and DKK. Before the dogs are used for breeding, their results for HD, AD, MDR1 and CEA/CRD are examined. Eye examinations and X-rays of the back are also carried out. This approach is intended to contribute to a well-considered foundation for the breeding programme and to maintain focus on the dogs’ health. The puppies grow up in family surroundings with experiences, stimulation and tasks suited to their age and development. The kennel prioritises a calm, loving and secure beginning, so that from the start the puppies encounter the impressions that are part of life as a member of a family and a sheltie pack.
