Based in Sale, Chayo is a dog breeding establishment associated with Jack Russell Terriers, Alaskan Klee Kai and English Bulldogs. Its background also includes two decades of experience with Alaskan Malamutes, a breed in which the kennel has developed a strong record in the United Kingdom and beyond. Health considerations are central to its programme: Malamute breeding stock is fully health tested. The Bulldogs are tested for HUU and have completed the health testing recognised by the Bulldog Breed Council. Chayo is a Kennel Club member and holds Trafford Council certification. The kennel's dogs have been placed internationally, including with successful kennels, and its work has received recognition in the show ring. The breeder is qualified to award Challenge Certificates and has judged Alaskan Malamutes at Crufts. Alongside its established Malamute history, Chayo has begun breeding Bulldogs and is developing this newer direction.
