Somerset Council Persian breeder in Wincanton · United Kingdom

Somerset Council is a Wincanton-based breeder associated with Persian and Exotic cats. Its broader presentation describes occasional litters raised in a private country home in Somerset, with the animals living indoors as family companions rather than being housed in kennels. The property also provides private gardens and paddocks. The source material mainly discusses the breeder’s dogs, which are described as coming from international championship lines. Where appropriate, they are registered and health tested before breeding. Puppies are raised and socialised in the home, then leave microchipped, insured and vaccinated, accompanied by food, paperwork and a care pack. The breeder reports being licensed following the animal welfare changes introduced in October 2018. Its home and the animals’ living conditions have been inspected by both a veterinarian and the council. The renewed licence is stated to carry a three-year, five-star rating reflecting the highest welfare standards.
