SILVANUS

Silvanus in Berlin has been dedicated to breeding English Setters for more than five decades. The hobby breeding kennel is active in the Verein für Pointer und Setter e.V. and also follows the guidelines of VDH, FCI and JGHV. For the planned 2027 litter, elegant, even-tempered and healthy dogs are the focus. When choosing breeding partners, the kennel pays attention to excellent conformation scores, dental status and, in particular, healthy hips. Hip evaluations in the lines of the stud dogs are also taken into account. The males used come from internationally recognized lines; in addition, only partners with documented hearing tests are selected to prevent hereditary deafness. The puppies grow up in the house in a family environment and together with children. Before leaving, they are dewormed several times, vaccinated, identified and examined audiometrically; they receive papers from VDH and FCI. Silvanus also provides advice to the new owners after the puppies have been handed over and recommends registering early for a puppy.
