Altdeutsche Schäferhunde von Castelano is a small Berlin hobby kennel for Altdeutsche Schäferhunde, predominantly from old GDR lines.

Altdeutsche Schäferhunde von Castelano is a small hobby kennel for Old German Shepherd Dogs in the north of Berlin. The family-run kennel raises its dogs in an environment with children and focuses predominantly on old GDR lines in its litters. Occasionally, puppies in black and tan, grey-brown sable or black are placed. The puppies grow up in the house and garden and are carefully socialized. The parent dogs are free from HD and ED; the corresponding independent assessments can be viewed at the kennel. The breeding dogs are also trained and handled in dog sports. Several breeding dogs have received awards at European, Prussian and state level. When they leave, the puppies have been dewormed several times, vaccinated and microchipped. They receive a European pet passport, a veterinary health certificate and a pedigree from the breed association.
