Shelties vom Venusgarten Shetland Sheepdog breeder in Handewitt · Germany

Shelties vom Venusgarten breeds Shetland Sheepdogs in Handewitt, whose puppies grow up in a home-based, family environment. The adult dogs live in the house as close members of everyday life; keeping them in a kennel is not an option for the breeding establishment. Births and the raising of the litters also take place in the house. Only health-tested parent dogs are used for breeding. The examinations mentioned include CEA/PRA/KAT, hip dysplasia, patellar luxation and MDR1. The bitch receives continuous care towards the end of pregnancy and after giving birth. The puppies are examined by a veterinarian for eye health and carefully socialized. When they are handed over, the young dogs are at least eight weeks old, have been dewormed four times, microchipped and vaccinated for the first time. Future families can regularly get to know the puppies by appointment from the fourth week of life. Even after the move, Shelties vom Venusgarten remains available for questions and places importance on continuing to support the dogs’ well-being.
