Rivus Blue Gascony Basset breeder in Karup · Denmark

Rivus breeds Basset Bleu de Gascogne with hunting, family life and quality as central guiding principles. The aim is healthy, breed-typical and well-functioning dogs that combine hunting aptitude and a willingness to cooperate with a stable temperament. The breeding is also based on the professional framework provided by DKK’s breeder education. Health and careful socialisation are given high priority, so that each litter gets a calm and secure start. The puppies grow up as part of the family and gradually become acquainted with the sounds of everyday life, different people and new impressions. The experiences are adapted to their development, so that acclimatisation takes place at an appropriate pace. Rivus places quality above the number of litters and takes plenty of time to find a suitable match between each individual puppy and its future family. The intention is to create a solid foundation for a good life together between dog and owner. The breeding also offers advice and professional guidance throughout the process, both before the puppy moves and afterwards.
