Falkirk’s breeds golden retrievers for hunting, training and family life. The breeding is based on breed-typical dogs with a friendly and stable temperament, good health and a joy of working. The goal is intelligent and cooperative dogs that can be active family members and thrive with various tasks. The breeding is carried out with DKK breeder education. The puppies are born and raised in a home environment as part of everyday life. They receive care, socialisation and positive experiences intended to give them a secure start in their new homes. Falkirk’s wishes for families that give the dogs the opportunity to use their natural abilities through activity and training. Obedience, tracking, nose work, rally, field trials, hunting and other dog sports may be relevant activities for the dogs. New owners are expected to contribute to the continued breeding work with HD/AD radiography and eye examinations around 15 months of age. The breeding also places emphasis on ongoing contact, advice and discussion throughout the dog’s life.
