Pons Insulas is a small dog breeding kennel in Rudkøbing focusing on Miniature American Shepherd. The aim is to breed healthy, harmonious and breed-typical dogs that can become devoted family members. The breed’s intelligence, beautiful expression and versatility are central qualities in the kennel’s work. The breeding is based on carefully selected dogs and consideration for the breed’s proportions, temperament and movement. Health and well-being are given high priority, and the breeding dogs undergo health testing with the aim of preserving healthy lines. Pons Insulas has completed DKK breeder training. The puppies grow up in homely and caring surroundings, where they encounter various impressions as part of their early socialisation. The kennel also places emphasis on a good foundation for training, so that the puppies can develop into confident and well-functioning dogs. Families for the puppies are selected with care.
