Coton Langelands

Coton Langelands is a family breeding program of Coton de Tuléar in Rudkøbing, where the dogs are an integral part of everyday life. As the breeding program is not operated full-time alongside other work, adult dogs and puppies spend most of the day together with the family and the pack. During their upbringing, the puppies meet both children and adults, go on car rides and experience new impressions outside the home. They are introduced to handling, house-training, daily activities and the sounds of an ordinary home, including appliances, music and television. Thunder, fireworks and animal sounds are also included as part of the acclimatization. The breeding follows the recommendations of DKK and Klubben for Små Selskabshunde. The breeding dogs have been approved at shows, are examined for patellar luxation with a status of 0/0 and undergo annual eye examinations. The puppies receive a Basis Plus pedigree when they leave. The breeding program has completed DKK's breeder education.
