Pendrups

Pendrups is a small home-based breeding programme of Jack Russell Terriers in Albertslund. The breeding programme has completed DKK’s breeder education and has one bitch. This is not commercial breeding, but a small breeding programme focused on the breed’s typical characteristics and a friendly temperament. This is the breeding programme’s fourth litter of Jack Russell Terriers and the first under DKK auspices. The mating was chosen following recommendations from veterinarians, other breeders and a judge. The bitch’s appearance, health and especially gentle nature were highlighted as the reasons for the choice. The puppies are born in a whelping box in the home’s bedroom. When they are old enough, they stay in the living room with access to a small garden. Socialisation and environmental training also take place in the green areas around the home, where the puppies can meet other dogs, people, cats, as well as ducks and geese.
